Aloha! Well it's been another great day here on Kauai. The morning started off with a brief rain shower. As a matter of fact it rained so hard for about 15 minutes Jackie and I were beginning to wonder if maybe Mary wasn't here! During her visit she got a chance to experience how hard it can rain on Kauai. After the rain Jackie and I decided that today might be a good day to go to town. We needed things from Costco and Jackie wanted to get her hair cut anyway so we threw the cooler in the car and headed out. First stop was to Eggberts for breakfast. I'm so glad that we rediscovered that place. We had gone there a few times on our first visit to Kauai and had kind of forgotten about it until Judy's visit. We won't be making that mistake again as they do put out a nice breakfast and the people who work there are very nice. Its not the 10-4 but its as close to it as we have found in Hawaii! From there we backtracked a few blocks to Snorkel Bobs to get our bottles of antifog solution refilled. They do it for free and Jackie and I have come to like free very much! After that it was off to Supercuts so Jackie could get her hair cut then on to Kmart to drop off our recyclables and pick-up a few things they had on sale. The next stop was Costco. I mentioned to Jackie that I would probably finish my book while she was shopping so when she came out of Costco she had a new book for me to read. She didn't want to take any chances that I might need to go in with her next time and its probably better for our budget that she did! The first two photos were taken at a beach called Flags. The next photo was taken on the trail to Queens Bath and the last photo was taken at Waiakalua beach...the so called nude beach located just down from our house.
