Aloha! Jackie and I have been enjoying another great day here on Kauai. The weather has been in the low 80's with lite trades. We have just been hanging around the apartment today as we can't think of anything pressing that needs our attention. We did get our ballots mailed for the primary election and decided that McDonalds sounded good for dinner so it was off to Kapa'a for an evening of fine dining! Told Jackie she could order any three items she wanted as long as it was from the dollar menu so we both had chicken sandwichs, fries and cokes...not a bad meal for about 6 bucks! It costs almost that much to eat at home! Not sure what we will do tomorrow. We might head to the south shore or maybe Tunnels or we might just make it as far as the chairs on our lanai. This being retired is a pretty good thing and very easy to get used to!
