Morning Snorkel

Aloha! Just a few words on our day. We decided to go snorkeling at Anini beach this morning. We needed to get to Costco to pick up our glasses and as they don't open until 10 thought that we would get a little snorkel in before we headed to Lihue. Had a nice little snorkel...the tide was a little lower than I like but not bad. We swam out and checked turtle rock first thing looking for our friend Mr. Honu. Today he wasn't home but we see him there about 80% of the time. Just hope he is there when Judy visits. We did run across a snowflake moray and a whitemouth moray not too far into our snorkel. After seeing all the morays at Anini it makes you a little apprehensive swimming over the coral. The water can get a little shallow in spots and we like to keep a little space between us and those razor sharp teeth most morays have in their mouths! We made it back to the beach about 9, warmed up with a nice cup of coffee and then headed back to the house to get ready for our big trip to town.
