A Day in the garden
Aloha from Kauai! Well we have had a very nice day. The weather has been beautiful...about 85 with light trades. We decided to take a day away from the ocean and work in the garden instead or I should say Jackie worked while I watched! Jackie had harvested her sunflowers last week and was wanting to get new ones planted and of course there are always weeds to pull. Our tomatos are slowing down some but still giving us plenty to eat...we just don't have as many for the neighbors now. We have started three new tomato plants and as soon as they get big enough we will be transplanting them into the garden but this time we will be giving them a little bit more room. The ones we have now are a bit cramped. We got our new glasses from Costco yesterday and I must say I was relieved when I put mine on. I was really afraid that I had messed up my prescription as I didn't feel I could see very well the day we got our eyes checked but everything was fine. Jackie is fixing short spagetti for supper and I think I will challenge her to a game of dominos after supper. I will probably put my new glasses to the test as she cheats worst than Darrell and that is saying a lot! Well better get washed up for supper so aloha for now Carl and Jackie

It sounds like you had a pretty good day. It was nice here today too, and I worked in the yard until my friend Sandy called. We did some running around and visited some people. I figure there is always tomorrow for the stuff that didn't get done today.
I'm practicing up for my own retirement someday.

So...who won at Dominos?
It was a typical day at the beach today (our beach, not yours) it was only about 65, yesterday was much sunnier and warmer. I worked in the yard anyway, no friend to save me from myself today.
Oh well, you can't win them all I guess.
