TRIP TO LIHUE

Aloha! Well it's overcast with a few rain showers here on Kauai. It was cold enough last night that we had to sleep with a blanket. We normally sleep with just a sheet but the blanket felt good last night! Jackie and I needed a few things from Costco so we drove into Lihue this morning with stops at Walmart, Sears and Costco. Jackie was in very charitable mood this morning and allowed me to accompany her into the stores. It might have something to do with my birthdays fast approach! At any case I spent the majority of my freedom wandering the isles in the electronic section trying to decide which tv I would buy if I was in the market for a new one. I think a 32 inch lCD would look real nice in our little studio but have to agree with Jackie that right now is probably not the best time to spend money that you don't have to spend as the tv we have now works just fine! The first two photos were taken at Queens Bath during Chad and Denises visit. The surf was in the 2 to 4 foot range then. The surf on Sunday when the 2 ladies were washed out was in the 12 to 14 foot range. The next photo was taken during Mom's visit. The last photo was taken at Charles and Judy's just before the trip.
