Aloha! Well its been a day of chores for us here on Kauai. Jackie and I mowed the lawn. It takes us the better part of the day to get it all done but we feel our efforts are well justified as it always looks so much better after we get finished. Today is also a very special day for two reasons. First, it's Mom's birthday. Hope she is having a super day as there is no one that deserves one more and second today is the day Jackie and I got engaged! I have made some decisions in my life...some good-some not so good...but the best decision I ever made was 35 years ago when I asked Jackie to marry me. Still can't believe she said yes! Jackie and I haven't been able to check for any humpbacks yet this year. It's a little early for them but we did spot one last year at about this time so we are going to have to drag ourselves out to the lighthouse and check it out.
