Aloha! Well today Jackie and I have been catching up on all the little piddly things we have been putting off. First up was a trip to the post office to renew our p.o. box. In the past that was no problem...you just go to the post office, pay them for the rent and go home. Not any more! Now you have to fill out a questionaire, show them 2 pieces of i.d. for everyone using the box and one of them must show your street address. So Jackie and I took our apartment lease along with our drivers license to the window and that still wasn't enough! They wanted the registration or proof of insurance from the car to boot! Not real sure why they needed all this info just to renew a p.o. box. We didn't need that much when we registered to vote! After we finished up at the post office we headed to Walmart to pick up a few items there and we stopped at a little shop next to Walmart on the way home to make sure they have wheelchairs to rent in case Mom wants one to help her get around during her visit.
