EARLY MORNING RAIN

Aloha! Jackie and I have enjoyed a very peaceful day. The morning was spent talking story with Cory and listening to the rain hammer in the down spouts. Why is it that the sound of rain is so peaceful...especially when you know you can just sit where you are and not have to go out in it? The rain stopped around 9 but the skies have remained overcast. Not a good day for the beach but an excellent day to work in the garden. I worked on our tomato cages getting the bottoms tidied up and Jackie pulled a few weeds. I must say Jackie has her little garden looking real nice and I have really enjoyed the fresh vegetables. As a matter of fact Jackie is slicing up a couple of the cucumbers we harvested this morning. They are very good with a little fresh squeezed lemon on them. I thought you might enjoy seeing the eagle ray again so I posted a short clip. When Jackie and I watch the clips on the blog a lot of times we will increase the zoom at the bottom of the page to either 125 or 150.
