Aloha! Jackie and I have enjoyed another nice day here on Kauai. The weather is slowly getting better...not that its that bad now, just not as nice as it normally is. We finally made it into the water today but the conditions were a little sketchy. The water clarity was ok but we had a bit of wind chop along with a pretty good current. It was also a little chilly in the water so we cut our snorkel down some and only stayed out about 30 minutes. We did see a lot of fish and even came across a small gurnard...something that we don't see real often. We both were wanting to see another ray but with the conditions being what they were we thought it best to stay a little closer to shore and leave the rays for another day.
