Aloha! Wow, you have to hand it to Kyle Busch...that kid can drive! We watched him dominate the truck race this morning, then we headed to Anini to get a little snorkeling in. The sun was out but it was still a little bit chilly. We enjoyed our snorkel anyway and we were lucky enough to find Mr. Honu to swim with. He was out in almost the same spot where we saw the eagle ray last week. We also ran across some very large cornetfish. These guys were closer in than they are normally. We also saw two stripebelly puffers. One was about 20 inches long and the other one was a lot smaller, maybe 7 inches. These guys feed at night and just lay asleep on the bottom during the day. After our snorkel we sat on the beach for awhile trying to enjoy the sun but after about 45 minutes we decided that a warm shower and some lunch sounded pretty good so we packed our stuff back to the car and headed home. We arrived with plenty of time to shower and eat before the Nationwide race started. Jackie and I were talking before the race and I told her I thought Kyle had a good chance to win this race but no way was he going to dominate like he did in the truck race. It took less than 1/2 a lap before I had to eat my words...he was by far the class of the field. About the only thing he could have done better would have been for him to put in that kind of performance in the M&M's car as that is Tylers favorite paint scheme. Tyler is only 5 years old and he can tell you what the drivers names and car numbers are for 2/3 of the field. But like I said earlier, his favorite driver by far is Kyle Busch...especially when he is driving the M&M's car!
