FRIDAY THE 13TH

Aloha! It has been a quiet day for Jackie and I with most of it being spent inside working with our old photos. Jackie scanned in photos from 1974 thru 1977. I think we ended up with about 130 photos. Things are sure a lot different now as we shoot about 130 pics a week! Of course, of those we might only keep 10! Our weather is still looking pretty good with temps in the mid 70's. The trades have picked up some but not as much as the weathermen where saying they would. If it stays this nice Jackie and I will head back to the beach tomorrow. I would really like to see that ray again! The clip we shot of him didn't come out as well as I had hoped. When you look at it full screen on our computer you can see him a lot better but not nearly as well as we could in person! The first two photos I posted were taken in Neosho, MO at at Grandma and Grandpa Everhards 50th anniversary. Those pics did bring back a ton of memories. Of those, one of the most vivid was of Jaynee in Fort Dodge, Kansas. She waited until we had all eaten breakfast and were putting the suitcases in the car getting ready to leave the motel before saying she wanted to wash her hair! As you can see in the photo she had the prettiest long hair so she couldnt just stick her head in the shower and go...she had to wash it, dry it, then comb it out! If she hadn't been such a pretty sister-in-law I would have voted we let her finish the trip with Greyhound. Of course, when my old LTD lost a starter in Rollins, WY on a Sunday afternoon on the way home I thought we might all be taking the bus home! The 3rd and 4th pics were taken at our house on Carriage Square.
