A DAY IN THE GARDEN

Aloha! Today Jackie and I worked in our garden. We finished pulling the weeds and now we need to figure out how we want to replant the tomatoes. Last year we made the mistake of planting them too close together and we are going to try and not make that same mistake again as it was a royal pain to work around them. The weather was nice today with temps in the mid 70's and overcast skies. There is a high surf warning for the north shore so maybe Jackie and I will head to the beach tomorrow to check out the waves. This weather is going to stay around at least through the weekend so we should have ample opportunity to get in the water. We might try out the snorkeling in front of the house Cindi is thinking about renting. We have never snorkeled there and we want to make sure it is safe for when Mike and Cindi visit. They are coming around the last of March and Cindi said her Mom is coming with them. Wow can you believe my sister is coming to Hawaii? I guess you know what that means...Velma you're next! Not sure how many maitais it will take to get you on the plane but I bet it will probably be more than one! If that doesn't work Jackie says she can always get something from the vet that will! The first pic is Brian taken when he was about 7 months at our house in Carriage Square. The next pic was taken at our house on Birch. Brian was about 4 months old. The last two were taken on our trip home.

I love seeing the old pictures. I can still remember the day Jackie took me over to see her horse. I was so scared to ride as her horse was twice the size of mine. That is so cool that Mike, Cindy and Aunt Carol are coming for a visit. I'm not sure if there is enough alochol available to get my mom on an airplane but we will keep trying. What is the typical weather, humidity for the time when we visit (last week Aug. first week Sept? I'm hoping the ocean will be kind so the guys can maybe go fishing. Thanks for posting the pictues.
