Aloha! It has been a very lazy day for Jackie and I. As a matter of fact I have spent most of the afternoon napping while Jackie worked on getting some more of our photos scanned and fixing a roast for dinner tonight. We had hoped that we would be able to get in the water today but mother nature had other plans. It rained most of the night last night and continued raining thru out most of the morning. It did clear up this afternoon and was pretty nice. At least thats what Jackie told me as I was asleep for most of the time. Tootsie, our weatherman, was just full of great news tonight...that is great news for ducks as he was saying we can expect rain and thunderstorms for the entire weekend! Our only hope now is that we can get all of this nasty weather out of the way so it can be beautiful for Mike and Cindi's visit.

- Jackie and I retired in October of 2006. Jackie after 15 years as a veterinary technician for Prosser Animal Hospital, Carl after 30 years as a leadman for Kenyon Zero Storage. Our last day on the job was on a Friday and we were on the plane heading to Kauai Saturday.
