BEACH WEATHER

Aloha! Jackie and I have enjoyed a very nice day. The weather has been ideal...mid 80's with light trades. We have all our little chores caught up so we were able to go to the beach and we didn't have to worry about things being undone at home. It was close to noon before we were ready to go and we figured we might as well eat our lunch at the beach. We waffled back and forth between Subway or Barr's fish taco wagon. We played it safe and opted for Subway. Barr's is very good but you can never be certain he will be there as he normally works three days a week and they aren't always the same three days! We made the right call today as Barr was not there! We also ran into Tiffany today. She and little Rylan were relaxing under a false kamani tree near the beach while Ryan's mom and Tiffany's younger sister were out enjoying the water. We talked story for a bit and watched little Rylan sleep. We had a good snorkel today. The tide was almost all the way in so we were able to explore parts of the reef we don't normally get to see because they are so shallow. Jackie ran across a large undulated moray eel. She said he was close to 5 feet long and as big around as a roll of paper towels! I was unable to spot him so no pics. I did get a few pics and a short video of a longspine porcupinefish for you to enjoy as well as a pic of a blackstripe coris.
